Britvic House

We worked as part of a reconfiguration of this well known company's head office. Working to a tight deadline to minimise disruption to the building we installed data and voice cabling solutions into the exisiting IT infrastructure as well as providing power to all 250 desks. Through careful evaluation of the existing infrastructure we were able to provide significant savings to the client.
The Old Pump Works

This unusual development involved installing brand new electrics to a redundant Victorian Pumping Station converting it to high specification offices. We installed data, voice, air conditioning, fire alarms, intruder alarm, CCTV and electrics throughout the offices fitting floor boxes and suspending lighting that kept the character of the buildings. To meet the strict environmental requirements we suggested a range of energy saving options. The most unusual feature of this development is the conversion of the sunken reservoir into contemporary offices, we used external lighting to help bring this blend of old and new together.
The Lodge
We worked on a large extension of this care home. Providing a full range of services including basic electrics, specialised door entry, fire alarm, air conditioning and CCTV. Due to the size of the extension it was necessary to place distribution boards in distinct areas providing the added benefit of being able to isolate smaller locations to enable easier maintenance in future as this is a 24 hour home that can not have work carried out except when occupied.
Forward Foods
We carried out a full install to these offices and warehouse including all electrical, air conditioning, CCTV and fire alarm. To meet difficult SBEMS we suggested digital dimming of the lighting that reacted to external lighting levels making the most of natural light. Additionally all of the lighting was low energy high frequency flourescent to further meet environmental requirements. To complete the installation we fitted seperate distribution boards and fitted all of the electrical wiring within steel trunking and basket tray to give a professional and neat finish.
MTM Plant Hire
We wired upstairs and downstairs offices, sales areas, toilets, workshops and canteen all using galvanised trunking and single cables. All recessed fluorescent light fittings were used for their even distribution of light. The offices and factory were fed by using two three phase boards. 400 watt metal halide low bay light fittings were used to light the factory unit. The mezzanine floor was lit using 6 foot twin fluorescent fittings activated by a passive infra red detector with a timer. The whole warehouse is protected by CCTV and a 4 zone fire alarm panel and has had air conditioning fited throughout.
Dental Directory
We carried out a rewire on two factories. We fitted a new 1200 AMPs per phase, main cabinet complete with a stand by 1000 AMP generator - we used galvanised trunking and conduit throughout and all 300 fluorescent lights were mounted to this trunking. We wired 150mm steel wire armoured cable 8 metres high on ladder racking to feed all the automated conveyor systems fitted through the whole warehouse. Six three phase boards were mounted at intervals to allow for easier wiring and localised isolation.
Nottingham Factory
This factory needed a 180mm steel wire armoured cable to be run from the mains to the other side of the factory in order to have shorter cable runs for 12 large machines, which have large power consumption. The 17000 square foot factory had to be lit by metal halide low bay fittings and all fittings were wired using 4 inch galvanised trunking suspended from the purlins using 10mm galvanised threaded stud.
New Build Factory Units
We have installed the elctrics and air conditioning in over 50 new build factory units across a number of sites including Chruchfields, Acton Lane, suffolk business park and Byford Court industrial centres. A cost effective and high standard solution involved fitting a single phase board supplying sockets, lighting emergency lighting and smoke alarms in both factory and office space. All BT's were wired to main BT point. The outside lights were 70watt metal halide fittings.
Harvest Barn
We wired two Barn conversions complete with garages and annex. Both barns have been rebuilt and rewired. All bathrooms have had chrome spotlights fitted. The vaulted ceiling in the lounge has been lit by chrome spotlights mounted on the oak cross beams as well as wall up lights. We fitted down lights in nearly all the rooms. We have also carried out dozens of new build houses for both builders and private customers. We are able to design all the lighting and help design the electrical layouts with any customers architect or designer.
